![]() ![]() In Word 2016 (Windows, Office 365 users only), you can see some extras on the Equation Editor ribbon, especially the LaTeX button. Everybody knows that Equation Editor produces ugly equations.In the Equation Editor Design ribbon, go to the Conversions group and click LaTeX. The LaTeX will be processed into the Equation Editor's native format. You need to prepare for the next lesson, or you need to write math formulas for your studies, exams and teaching. Because I'm unfamiliar with LaTex formatting, this equation editor has helped me immensely. After the main Word-to-LaTeX windows appears, just press the new Convert button again and wait a few seconds. The equations are converted to clickable fields which open in the Word Equation Editor window. Also works on Windows this one did not exist when I wrote my original. So, with all of this messing around, you're probably asking why you should bother with LaTeX.
